CTEnergyRatings.com Launched on November 1

Electricity Ratings – the operator of TexasElectricityRatings.com since 2009 – announced the launch of CTEnergyRatings.com on November 1 – a website focused on providing prices, ratings, and information about retail electricity suppliers in the Constitution State.

The site covers the entire state and features plans from all major providers in the United Illuminating and Eversource/Connecticut Light & Power footprints.

In addition to information on rates in the Connecticut deregulated market, the new website offers customer rankings and reviews of every major electricity supplier statewide. Specifically, the website ranks companies based on multiple independent data sources – among them: customer reviews, service ordering experience, customer service, plan pricing, and company standings with the Better Business Bureau. Ratings also take into account individual plan types, standard features offered by each natural gas provider, customer reward and incentive programs and more.

The current top five retailers on the portal, from highest to lowest ratings, are Spark Energy (3.8 on a scale of 5), Public Power (3.56), North American Power (3.5) Constellation Energy (3.35), and Direct Energy (3.34).

With regularly updated pricing and plan information available from different providers, as well as an emphasis on soliciting customer reviews of their energy providers, Connecticut Energy Ratings allows customers to evaluate which information is valuable to them when selecting a provider to best fit their needs.
