EarthTronics, an energy-efficient lighting manufacturer, has announced that is has expanded its line of energy-efficient, architecturally-designed round and square LED Mini Panel LEDs to include three sizes and wattages for a wide range of interior and exterior horizontal and vertical lighting applications.

The new offerings are available in 5.5-, 7- and 9-inch round and square designs ranging from in 11, 14, and 17 watts producing 700, 900 and 1,200 lumens in 3,000k and 4,000k color temperatures, the Mini Panel LEDs offer an impressive high color rendering of 90+ CRI along with a 50,000-performance life in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 105°F. The Mini Panels operate on 120VAC 60 Hz and are compatible with standard dimmer controls, providing smooth dimming from between 5% and 100%.

Its wet-location IP65 rating makes the Mini Panel LEDs means it can be used in hotels, hospitals, healthcare facilities, offices, schools and a variety of commercial applications, as well as in residential settings. According to the company, they feature an impact-resistant acrylic lens designed to achieve a wide light distribution pattern with exceptional color quality in attractive architectural frames.

EarthTronics claims the Mini Panel LEDs are easy to install on 4-inch J-boxes with a quick-connect locking design. The 5.5 and 7-inch fixtures also can be used as a retrofit for 4- and 6-inch downlight recessed fixtures with easy-to-install clips to provide a “fresh look” to old recessed lighting

In 2016, EarthTronics introduced a high lumen, high efficiency line of LEDs that was designed to replace HID lamps for interiors and exteriors in parking garages, site and security lighting, high bay warehouses and fixtures and post lights.

The devices, which offer 50,000-hour life and carry a five-year warranty, come in 36-, 54- and 120-watt sizes. They provide 4,5,00, 6,400 and 14,200 lumens, respectively. The release says that each offers full radial illumination to simulate the HIDs that they are placing and operate on 120 volt or 277 volt systems. Medium or mogul screw bases are available to fit with a variety of fixture types.
