PG&E Approaches NEM Cap; New Owner-Operators Will Participate in TOU Pricing

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) –  an investor-owned utility that provides natural gas and electric service to about 16 million people in the Golden State – announced on December 9 that the company expects to reach a net energy metering (NEM) milestone of 2,409 megawatts (MW) of installed private rooftop solar capacity on the energy grid this month – representing more than 275,000 solar customers in northern and central California.
